New Outdoor Ice Skating Rink Opening in Asbury Park

There's another option for Jersey Shore residents who want to go ice skating this winter!

The Asbury announced the opening of a new outdoor skating rink behind their hotel in Asbury Park!

The grand opening event is planned for this Saturday, January 21st, from noon-8 p.m. My buddy DJ Mike Merrell is spinning tunes from 3-6 p.m., plus you can keep toasty warm in front of the fire pit while you enjoy hot chocolate and snacks!

They're also doing some good with hourly raffles planned between 2-6 p.m. to benefit the Tomorrow's Children Fund. Prizes include free skate sessions, and one winner will even score a season pass!

Tickets to skate are $8 each, plus $4 for skate rentals. (Rentals are available for adults and kids.)

The rink will be open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays starting this Saturday, running  "every weekend until it's too warm to skate."

The Asbury is located at 210 5th Ave. (at the corner of Kingsley St.) in Asbury Park.
