Ocean County’s Latest Luxury Apartments are Coming to Toms River, New Jersey
This article is an update of an earlier post by Diana Tyler, it's a continued look into the latest luxury housing project here in Ocean County. The new project is called “Camelot at Toms River”.
This latest luxury housing project is located at 635 Bay Avenue in Toms River, located behind the Seacourt Pavillion Plaza.....across from the Ocean County Mall. The project plans to feature 128 luxury apartments with low maintenance. The apartments will include one and two bedroom floor plans with up to nearly 1,600 square feet units.
According to Kaplan Companies, the builders, residents will have access to such features as an outdoor swimming pool that will include a bbq area and fire pits. In addition a “tot lot” and “ballpark”. The new Camelot at Toms River will also feature a clubhouse with a fitness center, package room, multipurpose room. So it sounds like a nice place to live.
So our question for this article is simple, do you think this is a good place for a housing community? It is near lots of shopping and it is off the main road (Hooper Avenue) so do you like this project? We are trying to get word on pricing for these units, does Toms River need “luxury” housing? Do you prefer this type of housing to other types of housing for the Toms River community?
Can the schools in the area handle and increase in students? Would traffic be affected on Hooper Avenue.....just some additional things to consider. Is Toms River growing on average like other Shore towns or is TR getting too big too quickly? Let us know what you think and post your comments below.
Here are some photos from the project site......
