Many of our local school districts are now going on two weeks with the kids home from school.

Parents are considerably less excited than the little ones.

Brick, Toms River, Middletown, Manchester, and Wall are among the districts closed for the rest of the week.

As parents headed back to work this week, concerns about babysitters grew...as did the gray hairs caused by stir crazy kids who didn't want to spend their new 'vacation' in powerless cold homes.

A lot of these schools have already used up so many days that their Spring Breaks are slowly being taken away, or their school years lengthened into early July.

I remember as a kid how tough it was to remember the things we had learned after a week away...after two weeks away? Might as well start all over!

Parents, how are you coping with this? Are you worried about your kids learning this year?

Are they driving you crazy? (Don't be ashamed, you're not the only one!)
