The Point Pleasant Borough Halloween Parade took place yesterday with a kickoff on Bridge Ave.

Although the weekend started with some ominous weather, the forecast was a pretty good one for the start of the 2018 Point Pleasant Borough Halloween Parade. Just before the parade got underway, the sun was shining.

As the parade got underway, the clouds rolled in a bit, but it didn't dampen the spirits of the crowd on Bridge Ave. who were treated to everything from great kids costumes to some really creative entries, to the fire trucks and ambulances.

It looked liked local families had a really nice time at the parade, and the weather held up, which was more than most people thought would happen after the nor'easter conditions the weekend started with.

So a big shout out to all the families and friends and neighbors we ran into yesterday at the parade!
