Having a teenager who was invited to Princeton's New Music Building was a real treat.

Although he isn't old enough to be applying for colleges just yet (he just started tenth grade), his music career has brought him in front of some pretty impressive jazz artists, including one who is a music teacher at Princeton.

So when Ben was invited to the university to see the gorgeous new Music Building at the Department of Music at Princeton, meet some of the music students, and play (drums) for one of the instructors, we made a day out of it, ate at the French bistro on campus, and enjoyed walking around the historic buildings.

The town itself was really cool as well, with a ton of shops and restaurants/cafes, and we will be back to explore some more.

My other son, Christopher, has also toured Princeton University and enjoyed walking the campus.

I highly recommend a day trip to this beautiful university. You can call and arrange a tour and bring your camera to capture some of the beauty! There is a lot of walking involved if you plan to see everything, so be prepared!
