I have been putting up with you pumpkin spice obsessed coffee drinkers since August and I feel like I've been pretty patient this year!

I have dealt with the lattes, the candles, the cereal and even pumpkin spice body wash. It's everywhere.

This, however, might be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

Fall lovers can take things up a notch because there is a new pumpkin spice pizza pie available in Asbury Park, according to NJ.com.

The bold pizzeria is the one and only Talula's. I can't say I am surprised because this local spot has already impressed with unique pizza pie creations.

For example, Talula's has a Show Me Your Bloobz Pie which has pickled, fermented blueberries, feta, fontina, honey caramelized red onion, micro mint and lemon.

This pie has rave reviews online but when I ask people if they would try it, a lot of people still say no.

But will that also be true of their Pumpkin Spice Pizza?

Well before I give you the details, you should know it isn't exactly called a Pumpkin Spice Pizza. The name is genius. It's called the Basic B***h Pizza.

Let's find out.

Here is a savory description according to NJ.com! Whose ready to be basic?!

"Their classic Neapolitan-style dough and tops it with smoked mozzarella, ricotta, kabocha (squash), caramelized onion and pumpkin spice candied bacon. The spicy notes of pumpkin spice are peppered throughout the gooey cheese."

As much as I have this weird vendetta against pumpkin spice, that pie doesn't look half bad.

Okay, maybe I will just have to give it a try and quite literally, eat my words. Maybe.

“We like to have fun with our pies and come up with quirky flavor combos that our guests may not have tried or seen before on pizzas,” said Shanti Mignogna, owner of Talula’s according to NJ.com. “They typically start with a pairing idea, nostalgic dish, or a seasonal ingredient that we want to highlight, then we build from there.”

According to the author on NJ.com, the pizza pie wasn't half bad:
"The flavor is certainly pumpkin spice-forward, but not so overwhelming that it’s all you taste. The buttery cheeses added a perfect amount of saltiness and I relished in the deep flavor of caramelized onions and the sweet taste of kabocha – which did indeed work as a fine substitution for real pumpkin."
Could I have been wrong about pumpkin spice this entire time?
I will not admit I am wrong until after this pie has been tasted and not a moment before.
