Early Monday morning, this paint can arrived via FedEx informing Sea Bright mayor Dina Long that her town was among the 20 that won the Benjamin Moore "Main Street Matters" online competition.

Translation, a nearly three block stretch of Sea Bright will "get a fresh coat" courtesy of Benjamin Moore.

The Jersey-based company will provide the paint, stain and supplies for exterior building trims, its experts to help select colors and professional painters to do the work.

Specific locations and schedules will be announced soon.

Mayor Long said that this win for Sea Bright is going to do more than improve the towns outward appearance. It has already boosted the town's spirits and solidified their sense of community even more.
