As you know, I like to cook. You may not know I am a huge fan of Chinese food. I bought a Wok and it is my new favorite kitchen accessory. Not only do I get to make all different kinds of Lo Mein (my personal favorite), I get to prepare a healthy meal in about 10 minutes. If your life is as busy as mine, I know you’ll appreciate this simple and quick recipe. Here’s my version of Shrimp and Vegetable Lo Mein.

Cook the egg Lo Mein noodles by following the instructions on the package. Coat the Wok with either Olive Oil or Sesame Oil over a medium heat and add the frozen stir fry vegetables. Stir frequently until tender and add the shrimp. Stir in the egg noodles and season with a low sodium soy sauce and garlic powder. Gently toss, turn off your phone and enjoy! I hate being interrupted during a really good meal.

Now that you have the basic recipe you can experiment with different vegetables, beef, and pork. If you don’t have a Wok yet, definitely invest in one. You won’t be disappointed.
