Six Flags Great Adventure In Jackson, NJ Announces More Appealing Pay For Workers
The 2022 season has officially begun at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson...and they are just getting started.
The theme park and Wild Safar Adventure are currently open with the water park, known as Hurricane Harbor, set to open on May 14th.
Six Flags integrated a slew of renovations, improvements and park additions which means more man power is necessary.
What does all this mean? Six Flags is currently hiring in bulk.
According to NJ.com, the massive theme park is looking to sweeten the deal for employees to combat the labor shortage happening in 2022.
First, let's take a look at all of the new additions coming to Six Flags this Summer...and then I'll tell you about that pay bump.

There's a lot right? Now do you get why the park is getting ready to bring on 4,000 new employees?
Here are some of the current rates already released:
Ride Operators - $15/hour during day shifts; $16/hour during night shifts & Saturdays
Security - $16 to $18/hour
Lifeguards - $16 to $18/hour
Landscapers - $16 to $18/hour
It is possible for leadership positions to make more than the wages listed above.
If working at the theme park doesn't sound like your cup of tea, what if I sweeten the pot a little?
According to NJ.com, Six Flags has just announced that, "ride operators [are] set to receive $20 an hour on the busiest days."
That's a nice pay raise, right?
The only thing is that Six Flags did not reveal the details behind what they consider "the busiest days." Maybe weekends and holidays?
Either way, it is more money in your pocket.
