Doesn't seem as bad as it could have been...but can looks be deceiving?

I find it funny when people get so upset about an impending storm....but then get angry if we didn't get hit as hard as they thought we would.

There have been PLENTY of accidents on our roadways this morning, but because we didn't get as many inches (at least as of 9:30 am) as we thought, I am seeing mean comments all over social media from angry people.

Newsflash: meteorologists are not God. They can only do their best to predict what it looks like will happen based on their scientific info. But I say we should be THRILLED when things turn out BETTER than expected.

And, besides, you may have gotten a bonus day off of work! (And I'm sure there are super happy kids out there because school was cancelled.)

And, in all seriousness, there IS a LOT of ICE out there underneath the snow on our roads. So please use caution. It won't warm up before Saturday so ice will still be a factor.
