The Jersey Quote?

It seemed like a quote that could be attributed to a lot of famous New Jersey people, but it basically didn't fool anybody.

In case you missed it, here's the quote..

"New Jersey shaped who and what I am. Growing up in New Jersey gave you all the advantages of New York, but you were in it's shadow. Anyone who comes from here will tell you that same story."

If you had never heard that quote before, I thought several famous New Jersey stars could have said it. But you can't get anything by a Bon Jovi fan. That was a Jon Bon Jovi quote, as many of you already knew!

In other Jon news, he filled in for The Kinks lead singer Ray Davies at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Ceremonies in New York this past Thursday. Davies was an inductee but couldn't make it due to the death of his sister. Bon Jovi accepted the honor on behalf of Davies, according to USA Today.
