If you can ignore the temperatures we've had lately at the Jersey Shore, and if you pay close attention, you can notice signs of spring at the Jersey Shore.

Yesterday Laurie wrote about the Belmar St. Patrick's Day Parade's arrival. She said that's it's the first sign of spring for her. I couldn't agree more. We're all hungry for some spring and that's a good start.

Many people have told me the day that starts spring for them is St. Patty's Day itself (3/17), and that certainly works as well. Liz and I will be celebrating that day with you during our live morning show broadcast from Kelly's Tavern on Route 35 in Neptune. We'd love to see you out there!

Whatever day is your official start to spring at the Jersey Shore, it's nice to know that all of them are just around the corner, and not a moment too soon!
