Some Super Math To Explain A Quiet Monday Around The Jersey Shore
This coming Monday may feature less traffic and congestion on Jersey Shore roads and you can thank the Patriots and Falcons for that.
We researched some Superbowl numbers and did the math and the results may explain why everything is a little more quite at the office and on the Monday roadways around the Jersey Shore.
First of all, time.com reports that will drink 325 million gallons of beer and will eat 1.3 billion chicken wings during Superbowl festivities leaving many in less than ideal conditions to drag themselves out of bed and head to work on Monday morning.
And according to charlottestories.com, for last years big game 16.5 million Americans skipped work the day after last year's game and an amazing 10.5 million didn't even bother with the fake "I'm sick call on Monday morning. They took the day off in advance.
Heinz had an idea. They decided to give all salaried employees the day off and they've stared a petition to make the day after the Superbowl a national holiday called "Smunday", according to cnn.com..
So for those at the Jersey Shore who plan on taking the day off, you've got a long weekend to look forward to. For those of you planning on heading to work, at least those roads should be a little more tolerable.
