There has already been some "song of summer" contenders. "ME!" from Taylor Swift and "I Don't Care" from Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber are just a couple of examples. My pick is a little different.

I present to you: "Summertime Is Great."

This song is so bad, it's good. The video for it truly made me uncomfortable. It's campy and downright awkward. One YouTube user said:

I would rather gouge out my eyes to the tune of "#SELFIE then listen to this again.

It comes from a group called Three Beat Slide. They say on their YouTube channel that they aim to provide an upbeat mix of pop and rock music. I don't know much more about these folks. I'm not sure I want to. Sit back, relax and say goodbye to Rebecca Black's career. This is "Summertime Is Great."
