I think I just figured it out!

I found a way for us to keep the Jersey Shore clean, even during the peak Summer months when thousands flock to our area.

According to NYPost.com, the city Malmo located in Sweden installed new garbage cans with a genius premise.

Trash Bins Ready for Pickup

Whenever someone throws away their garbage - as they always should - the trash can is hooked up to play, "sexy comments of encouragement."

Basically, the trash can is using positive reinforcement by talking dirty to those who clean up after themselves.

Not only does this encourage people to pick up their own filth but it also starts that conversation of how important it is to keep our planet clean.

It is a genius idea and I am just pissed I didn't think of this idea myself.

According to NYPost.com, some of the compliments, which are said by a steamy female voice, include:

"Oh, right there, yes!"

"Hmmm, yea....that was crazy good!"

"Come back soon and do that again!"

"Just to the left!"

Believe it or not, the city officials are behind these new garbage cans placed around town.

“[It’s] a new, humorous way to get across our message,” said Marie Persson, chief of Malmo's roads department according to NYPost.com. “The sentences are part of the campaign’s intention to get more people to talk about the dirtiest thing there is: littering. The stuff that ends up in our streets, squares, and sea.”

If you want to see a video of these new garbage cans in action, CLICK HERE! It is not in English but there are subtitles.

We need these garbage cans HERE! Not only throughout the Jersey Shore, but all over New Jersey or even the entire globe overall.

This is how I picture the interactions going down.

*Random benny throws out their wrapper and is surprised to hear the sexy talk in return*

Benny 1: Hey bro! This garbage can just talked to me!

Benny 2: What? No way bro!

Benny 1: Look! *Throws out another piece of trash to prove his point*

Benny 2: What?! Let me try!

It won't necessarily FIX the problem of litter but it would definitely help.

Positive reinforcement...it is a powerful thing.

Thank you for reading! You are so beautiful and did such a great job.

See? Positive reinforcement.
