I haven’t been vaccinated yet but I know which one of the three that I want. I’m a woman, I shop. I’ve done my homework and I know in my mind which one I think is best for me and my family but experts are telling us to go against everything Consumer Affairs has ever taught us and take the first vaccine we can get our hands on…they want us to settle and smile about it. NEXT!

I'm an animal lover but I'm not sure how I feel about this one. Actually, I do know exactly how I feel..I was just being polite. I'm outraged! Apes are now getting the COVID vaccine before human beings?

Many New Jersey parents have had enough. COVID fatigue is an understatement and they want they kids back in school, or at least the choice to send them back.

If you're a parent, grandparent or even a stellar aunt or uncle then you get the concept of gladly wanting to trade places with your little one anytime they're sick or hurting. Watching them suffer is so much worse than any physical symptoms we would experience ourselves. We're their great protectors, and while they're young, we're also their big decision makers.

My kids are going CRAZY being homebound in a COVID winter. Today for example I caught my daughter sitting on the top of our wood floor staircase on a dog bed as a make-shift sled and as I screamed, "nooooo" she threw herself and our puppy down the stairs for a thrill. After making sure no one had to go to the emergency room I asked her why she did it and she said she was so board that she just had to do it. That's why I'm listing some places to hit asap to relieve this kid (and yours) of cabin fever. Here are some local boardwalk spots to keep you and your kids sane during the winter!

I’ve been asked point blank by other moms, teachers, family members and even listeners about where I stand about the COVID vaccine. My answer is kind of a mixed bag. I’m not trying to avoid the issue; it’s just that I can’t be emphatic about anything that I have never dealt with before. Give me cold hard facts and I’ll muster up a decision and stick to it, but this COVID thing has ever changing variables so how can I be sure?

I have huge respect for anyone who reinvents themselves to stay in the fight especially with COVID. So many of our local restaurants have found a way to hang on and help us do the same. Thank you for your innovation, flexibility and frankly, your fight. I see you. Here are some local places doing it up right this winter!

If your kids are like mine, then they’re practically bouncing off the walls after 11 months of COVID (not to mention we're in the peak of winter). Well, even with all that working against us, there’s still a bunch of things we can do locally and safely to keep our kiddos sane.
