While we enjoyed some record warmth last week at the Shore, colder weather is coming soon and after all the Holiday rush is over and the New Year is rung in, what is there to do around Ocean County?
Fall marks a favorite time of year for many New Jersey residents. Besides football and apple cider, there are lots of fun things to do in New Jersey to celebrate Fall.
I've been accused of holding on to summer too long. I plead guilty to that. But now I've embraced the fall. The weather is beautiful. I'm ready to welcome Halloween, and I'll even start thinking about Thanksgiving. But now they've gone too far.
I love pumpkin-flavored goodies -- breads, scones, muffins, soups, and even pumpkin spice lattes (which, no, don't have any real pumpkin in them, just 'pumpkin spice' flavors which are basically cinnamon, clove, and allspice.)
Normally I'm pretty pumped for the first taste of orange-y goodness. Not this time.
I will never understand tightrope walking. The wires are usually the width of your thumb, and some acrobats make it seem like the easiest thing in the world to walk on. It seems like they never fall either, but this video will remind you how dangerous these stunts can be.
After seeing this fall, I'm even more sure that tightrope walkers are superhuman.
