I'm pretty sure today is Liz's birthday. She always takes her birthday off, and she's not here today, so I think it's a pretty good bet.

So many people and organizations in Monmouth and Ocean Counties have been touched by the incredible work of the OceanFirst Foundation.

Liz and I have announced that they will be hosting a day-long radiothon to help raise funds and awareness for The Ashley Lauren Foundation.

It's another beautiful morning at the Jersey Shore and we are starting it off in about the best way you can.

2014 has made it's arrival and before all the talk turns to our first 2014 snow storm, I just wanted to wish you all the best for a great and healthy 2014.

As soon as the invitation to Liz and Nancy to come to my house for a barbeque came out of my mouth, I regretted it. Wasn't 5 hours a day enough? Turns out we actually had fun.

Yesterday marked the first day of our very exciting partnership with OceanFirst Bank as we celebrated the unveiling of the name of our studio as the OceanFirst Bank Studio.

Nancy has wanted to get the morning show together for lunch for about 5 years. Sweet idea, but that would mean seeing each other after work. Usually I avoid these get togethers because Liz and I have usually had enough of each other by 10am.

Liz made some calls, talked to some people, sent some e-mails, and hooked up an interview with Vinny Guadagnino from Jersey Shore. He'll be calling in to Lou and Liz between 8:30 and 9:00 this morning. Vinny has a book out called  "Control The Crazy" and he'll definitely be talking about some real life challenges you probably don't know about.
