Back in February, I wrote a post about a guy who put his entire resume on a candy bar wrapper. I also included my own story of getting noticed in a highly competitive field by introducing the "shoe resume." A few weeks later I received a call from a Today Show producer who read the article and invited me up to 30 Rock to talk about it.
The Today show got people's attention today when the morning program aired an interview segment of Kardashian-mom Kris Jenner talking about her breast plastic surgery instead of honoring the 8:46 a.m. moment of silence in remembrance of the 11th anniversary of 9/11/01.
For the billionth time I say, I have the coolest job ever. Tomorrow morning I'll be taking a limo into New York City to see Maroon 5 perform live on NBC's Today Show.
So how exactly do you prepare for that?
Tomorrow we say goodbye to our Ocean Township studios. No worries, we're not leaving your radios, we're just moving. For those of you who have seen our studios, you know the walls are covered with posters and signs...our history here at the Point. My contributions are a little more vibrant than most.
