New Jersey overall had a good showing on the national scale, with the most expensive zip code being Alpine in Bergen County, and that town is expensive enough to put it at #58 on the national list. according to Property Shark.

But not far behind Alpine is a Jersey Shore town that we all know and love. It's the second most expensive zip code in the state. It's good old 08750. That's right, this year Sea Girt made the list.

It's the first time Sea Girt has ever made the most expensive list. And just think, it all started as a farm owned by Dr. Charles Montrose Graham and Mr. John Sherman, according to the Sea Girt website.

We all know how quaint and amazing Sea Girt is. And it turns out it's not exactly cheap to live there. But we kind of knew that already.
