The New NJ Hall of Fame Inductees Have Been Announced
Here are the celebrities you will be able to see walk the red carpet at Convention Hall this spring!
The NJ Hall of Fame has chosen 17 members for their 2017 Class. They will be honored at the 10th annual ceremony at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park on Sunday, May 6th. And you could be there!
Here's the list of Inductees:
Performing Arts: Meryl Streep, Steven Van Zandt, Debbie Harry, Gloria Gaynor and The Four Seasons
Sports: Baseball's Al Leiter and runner Mary Decker
Enterprise: Buddy Valastro (The Cake Boss), Publishing Executive Steve Forbes (Forbes Magazine)
Arts and Letters: Author Harlan Coben, Author and Journalist Anna Quindlen
Public Service: Astronauts Mary and Scott Kelly, Nurse Clara Maass, Politician Millicent Fenwick
Our friend, Celebrity Photographer Gary Gellman of Gellman Images will be, as always, the official photographer of the NJ Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Paramount Theatre. He has captured some of the most iconic images of Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Danny DeVito, and so many more.
Gellman and his work have been featured nationally over 500 times on network TV, in magazines, and, of course, on the Lou and Liz show.
The NJ Hall of Fame also has a mobile museum that travels throughout the state and beyond to showcase the great people who have come from our state. The museum recently celebrated its 300,000th visitor. It's a field trip on wheels! For more info, CLICK HERE!
