It was a fantastic Friday at 94.3 The Point. We had a fun early morning broadcast at the New Jersey Natural Gas Asbury Park Boardwalk studio and after, Lou and I immediately made our way to the Freehold Raceway Mall. We teamed up with the Ray Catena Auto Group and Fulfill NJ to launch the One Million Meal Challenge!

94.3 The Point and I want to thank the many listeners who dropped off non-perishable food items this afternoon. Now more than ever there are families in need in our community and we are always glad to do our part.  If you were unable to stop by, keep in mind All September long, you can also make a monetary donation at Fulfill NJ's official One Million Meal Challenge page, which you can click here to check out!

It is important to note that the FoodBank of Monmouth & Ocean Counties is now Fulfill. The name change comes from the fact that they focus on more than just food distribution. Providing food not only stops the battle against hunger but it helps those get back on their feet for a successful future. Fulfill food drives happen all the time so keep a look out for more updates on our 94.3 The Point app!

I can speak for Lou, we might look silly in our masks but we were both thrilled to be out in the community helping out one of our favorite Jersey Shore organizations. As things continue to open up, expect to see us more and more throughout the Jersey Shore. I see nothing but positives for the future!
