What do you do when your hair is too long, and your on air partner is making fun of you for it? You take matters into your own hands.

Technically, I not only took matters into my own hands, I took scissors into my own hands, walked into the bathroom, and set out to remedy the issue. When Liz makes fun of your hair, you know it's time to act.

I'm not going to lie to you. This is not a first from me. Far from it. I've done this many times before, so it's not as scary as it sounds. But, as they say, I'm not about to quit my day job. My salute to all those hair professionals who make us all a little prettier with their talents.

But, desperate times call for desperate measures. I have heard some great stories of people doing their own hair, and even spouses who are jumping in to help the one they love.

So, first of all, a huge shout out to all the hair experts and hair salon workers at the Jersey Shore. We love you guys and all you do! And until the dust settles, I'm going to look like, well, this.

Let us know if you have had some personal hair maintenance experiences during this outbreak. We love to hear great stories! And good luck, whatever you're doing to keep your hair maintained!

For the record, I did offer to help Diane do anything she needs to do to her hair, and she politely passed. She's beautiful and smart!
