Every time some experts release the foods that can help you lose weight, I hope that there is some surprise food that will shock me, or it's something I already eat a lot of.

Unfortunately for me, this is not that day. Maybe it is for you. If not you may want to consider working these foods into your diet, according to msn.com, if you're trying to lose weight. Pizza, by the way, is not on the list. I already checked. Twice.

Dark leafy greens...These three words seem to always be on the list. If the only green you eat is the jalapenos on your nachos, you may want to add some foods with folic acid (to help with stress hormones and iron (for stamina and to help prevent anemia in women).

Quinoa...Do I eat it? I can't even pronounce it. But experts say it's got a lot of protein which helps you feel full and burn fat, so if you haven't already, add it to your vocabulary...and menu.

Wild Fed Salmon...I can't get away from the salmon either. I'm not the biggest fan, as you may be able to tell, but salmon, along with shellfish and grass-fed beef have a ton of B3, B6 and B12 and that's great for the production of serotonin.

One of these days, a list like this is going to come out and chicken parm and burritos will be on it. Dream it people, and it will come true. Untill then, have a salmon and dark leafy green salad with a side of quinoa and keep on dreaming.
