There's Talk Of $7,000 Stimulus Checks Being Sent Out On Aug19th?

Here's a little fun fact that surprised the crap out of me.

According to NJ.com, the phrase, "$7,000 stimulus checks Aug. 19th" is one of the most popular Google searches right now!

Another stimulus? A few days away? Worth $7K?! NO WAYYY!!!!

This news all started from a post seen on The U.S. Sun and according to this article, the money will be sent through direct deposit.

Well thanks to The U.S. Sun, everyone has gotten excited for nothing.

That's right...this news is no more than a cruel rumor.

So just to repeat, the Biden administration has not approved any additional stimulus money for the public on August 19th...or at all in general of now.

I get it. You see "stimulus" and "$7,000" in a headline and your heart skips a beat because you start to imagine all the bills you can pay ahead of time with that kind of money.

But the amount had me skeptical from the start....it is more than 3X than any other stimulus check.

But....the talk of stimulus checks is NOT over.

There is a petition not only asking for a fourth stimulus check, but for $2K monthly checks moving forward for Americans at Change.org.

It has garnered over 2.8 million signatures and every time I check this post, that number has gone up.

The argument there is that our country is on the mend (which is true) and that a lot of people racked up a lot of debt last year (which is also true.)

You have people who got let go from their jobs have months of unpaid rent and utilities, landlords who are hurting financially from tenants who couldn't afford to pay their rent and business owners whose businesses slowed way down.

So....to send stimulus or not?
