Our Point Pets of the Week from the Monmouth County SPCA are adorable Chihuahua mixes that were found in a bag along with three precious puppies.

Jessie and Ginger were brought to the shelter after being found in the parking lot of Fine Fare in Long Branch along with 3 other puppies.  Jessie is a 5 year old Chihuahua mix and Ginger is a 1 year old Chihuahua mix.  (In this picture, Jessie, with beautiful brindle coloring, is on the left, and Ginger, a long-haired sweetie, is on the right.)

It seems that Jessie is Ginger's mom.  Apart, Jessie and Ginger are shy. But together they really come out of their shell.  Because they are so attached we are asking that they going home together.  They are small enough to not take up much extra space!

Jessie and Ginger are available for adoption at the SPCA's Eatontown location, and the 3 puppies  (3 month old Chihuahua/Pug mixes!) will be available tomorrow (Friday) at the Freehold Raceway Mall Homeward Bound Adoption Center on the lower level next to Sears.

These puppies deserve a forever home after being abandoned in a bag in a parking lot. They are sweet and friendly and loving (and small!) and just want a family to play with.
