As mentioned in the title, this is a "bar", but it's a bar with a different angle, it's a clam bar. If you are like me, there is nothing better in summer than a plate of ice-cold clams on a half shell, delicious and very "Jersey Shore".

The new business is Dock & Claw Clam Bar in Beach Haven, Long Beach Island. Looking at their menu I see their raw bar with oysters, clams, and shrimp. In addition, they have hot foods for everyone including dishes like a double-dock burger, lobster roll, blackened shrimp po'boy, fish tacos, chorizo tostada, mussels marinara, mussels with white wine and garlic, spicy mussels with chorizo, and clams 3 ways.

The Dock & Claw also has salads and new england clam chowder. There are also starters like duck wings, country fried shrimp, burrata & bruschetta, clam strips, and grilled oysters. Side dishes like fries, grilled asparagus, mac and cheese, and hush puppies.

Don't worry about the kids, they have you covered with their lil dock burger, chicken tenders, and hot dog.
