Our Point Pet of the Week is Malika, and she has been hoping for a
forever home for almost 2 years at the Monmouth County SPCA

If cats could talk, here's what this beauty would say:

I’m not sure why no one has scooped
me up yet-I’m easygoing and I really don’t ask for much. I love to
curl up in a warm, sunny spot and nap the afternoon away. I’m kind of
a couch potato-I would be a really great TV-watching companion. I’ll
watch Football or do a Friends marathon with you-I don’t care what we
watch as long as I’m with you!

The folks at the MCSPCA tell me that “kitten season” is coming, and with all the cute, playful kittens
around, it’s harder for us adult cats to find a home. I would really love to find my purrfect family before the kittens start arriving.
I think I would be easier to have around than a kitten too.

I promise I won’t climb your curtains or chew on your fingers like a little kitten would! I know how to use my litter box and
I sleep through the night too. I would be happiest being the only kitty in your home, but I promise to give you the happiness and
comfort that 10 cats could provide! Will you make me the happiest girl in the world and give me a home?

Makes me wish I could scoop her up today! But maybe YOU know someone who can : )

Also, the Monmouth County SPCA will be doing an outreach at the Seaview Square/Ocean Township Petsmart this Saturday, May 10th, 2014, from 11 am - 2 pm. (GPS address is 2391 New Jersey 66, Ocean Township).
