Thompson Middle School Hosts Run/Walk-a-Thon For Student

Tomorrow afternoon, Thompson Middle School in Middletown will host a run/walk-a-thon to benefit one of their students who is battling leukemia, and you can help.

We spoke this morning with Toni Marie DeGennaro and Carole Ryan, both math teachers at the school who talked about the strength and determination of Danielle, who has been battling leukemia for the past two years.

The travel back and forth to New York hasn't dampened Danielle's spirit, but it has taken a financial toll on the family, so the terrific staff and student body has come together for this incredible event, which takes place tomorrow starting at 2:30pm at Thompson Middle School.
