There was a ton of excitement surrounding Tim Tebow's visit to FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood this past Sunday.

Wherever Tebow goes, the crowds and the press follow, and so do all of his fans, and there were plenty in attendance to catch Tim Tebow play ball at FirstEnergy Park against the Lakewood BlueClaws.

Tebow could not come up with a Mother's Day hit for the crowd. He struck out twice, got on base on an error and walked once. But it didn't seem to matter. fans came to see him and that's all that mattered to many of his loyal fans.

He'll have more chances to get that elusive Lakewood hit, since his Fireflies play three more games against the BlueClaws. There's a doubleheader today (5/15) and another game scheduled for tomorrow (5/16).

Game 2 of today's doubleheader is the make up game for the rain out on Saturday.
