Two Year Old Shepherd Mix Needs Home

Our Point Pet of the Week is named Kira and she needs a good home.

Kira is a sweet 2-year old Shepherd mix who is came from the south and was brought up here by the Monmouth County SPCA so they could save her life and find her a forever home.

Kira is a big girl with lots of love to give and she loves to snuggle with people, leaning into you for lots of pets and scratches.

Kira loves to play, too, and just loves all of her toys. She really hasn't had the opportunity to meet any kids yet but she's so sweet that she most likely will love them if they are nice to her, since she has liked everyone she has met so far.

Kira does, however, need to be an ONLY PET because she prefers to be the canine center of attention.

Kira is smart and knows some basic commands and is motivated to learn more. She is a big fan of treats, so teaching her new tricks will be a breeze for someone who is willing to work with her. She is just an all-around great girl who is looking to find a forever family to call her own.
