Walk and 5K in Asbury Park for the Whole Family

It's the season for walks and runs for great causes. Here's a way for you and your kids to get out on the boards and help those in need!

On Saturday, April 8th, The Arc of Monmouth is holding its annual "Step Up for The Arc" Walk and 5K on the Asbury Park boardwalk. This event is great for kids, too!

Their new 5K route hugs the ocean and runs south from Convention Hall through Asbury Park, Ocean Grove, and Bradley Beach. It's the perfect 'run in the sun' at the Jersey Shore!

So grab your friends, family, and loved ones and take a wonderful stroll or energizing run with a view of the waves!

After the Walk & 5K, there will be an after-party inside Convention Hall with live music by Wait Till Friday and DJ Nicky, a free BBQ lunch cooked up by the Lodges of the 17th Masonic District, coffee and bagels donated by Costco and Starbucks, carnival games, a photo booth, goodie bags, community vendors, and more. Fun for the whole family!
