Now THIS is what Asbury Park is all about!

Every Monday this summer, The Asbury Park Music Foundation is presenting free concerts in Springwood Park.

Last Monday (August 1) Officer Craig Breiner grooved to the sounds of  the Random Test Reggae Band as they performed a spirited cover of the Bob Marley classic, "Could You Be Loved?" The video--shared on the Foundation's Facebook page--has over 72,000 views so far!

The Foundation has a full schedule of shows coming up, including an appearance by Gary U.S. Bonds on August 22. Bonds, as many know, had a hit with Bruce Springsteen's "This Little Girl is Mine" in 1981.

This Monday features the rock, pop, and old school Latin grooves of the MonteRosa Band.

The Foundation currently has a GoFundMe campaign set up to raise money for the expansion of music programs for underserved children throughout the county. To contribute, go HERE
