Who Is New Jersey’s Wealthiest Person?

New Jersey has it's share of rich people, but who is the one that stands above the rest as the richest of all?

The richest person in each state was recently listed by 24/7 Wall St. and the top person in New Jersey is worth $13.1 billion and lives in Somerset County. You have most likely heard of him...so who do you think he is?

The answer is the president and owner of Advanced Publications, Donald Newhouse. The company's products include Reddit, The New Yorker and Vanity Fair and was started by Newhouse's father in 1922.

Some of the other Garden State billionaires who Newhouse beat out included Peter Kellogg and Leon Cooperman, according to 24/7 Wall St.

This past summer, New Jersey as a whole was ranked the 5th richest state in the United States, with a median household income of $72,222, according to an article at U.S. News & World Report.
