When we say we share everything with you, we take it pretty seriously. We mean pretty much everything. So here we go.

So when I opened Facebook this weekend, barely a second of scrolling went by before I saw a skinny, scrawny little kid hugging his baby sister and a cute little message reminding that skinny, scrawny brother how much his kid sister loves him. Adorable and touching.

Something we need more of in this often negative world we live in. And then it dawned on me that the skinny, scrawny brother in the picture was me.

Those pencil arms reminded me of the nightly hassle I gave my parents insisting that all I wanted for dinner was soda. And it reminded me that my youthful years did not happen to land in a very, shall I say, chic time in history.

But what it reminded me of was how a great childhood got twice as good when this 8 year old kid met his brand new kid sister. Sure I complained a little. I just wanted to play and all she wanted to do was eat and sleep.

One of these days, I’ll share the thousand stories between them and now, but for the time being, I just wanted my sister Toni Ann to know how much she is loved and how much she means to me.

And a Happy Sibling Day right back at ya! I know it's a couple of days late, but I thought this picture needed to be seen!
