One of the biggest fitness trends has arrived here in Ocean County with a long-anticipated ribbon cutting in Brick.

It's been almost two years since we first told you about the plans for a Gravity Vault rock climbing gym to come to Brick Plaza.

If you've lived in the area for a while, you know that they had a pretty big project on their plates, with plans to transform the former Mansion Nightclub into a state of the art rock climbing gym (think about it, they had to build out and up!).

We won't even talk about the pandemic grinding literally the whole country to a halt and putting just about every construction project in existence on ice for weeks and even months in some cases.

But, that being said, after first hearing the news and getting the artists' renderings two years ago, Brick's Gravity Vault indoor rock climbing gym cut the ribbon at their newest location in Brick Plaza last weekend.

Brick Township Mayor John Ducey joined officials from the new business to help mark the occasion and shared photos of the Saturday, November 14th ribbon cutting to the town's official Facebook page:

You can check out the new Gravity Vault indoor rock climbing gym right next to Trader Joe's on the Cedar Bridge Avenue side of Brick Plaza.

You can click here to check out their official website for the Brick Plaza location, which has plenty of info on hours (heads up, due to COVID, reservations are currently required, so definitely plan ahead), features, and more.
