This has been a very bad allergy season so far at the Jersey Shore, and if you think it's worse than ever, you may be right.

The tree pollen level is off the charts at the Jersey Shore again today, with the levels listed as high once again today, and according to the Weather Channel, the tree pollen will remain high for at least 4 more days.

So, as the Jersey Shore suffers through this allergy season, residents can't help but feel like allergy season just keeps getting worse. Is it our imagination? Is it the allergy medicine talking?

Well, according to one report it's neither. according to a report at CNBC, one theory for the consistent rise in allergy suffering is the consistent rise in temperatures. The last decade was the warmest on record

As the theory goes, the warmer temperatures cause a longer growing season and therefore the pollen and allergen counts will go up.

So. maybe we're dealing with the worst allergies ever at the Jersey Shore, and maybe not. But I'll tell you this. There's a lot of coughing and sneezing and suffering going on now at the Jersey Shore. Almost as much as during our miserable flu season this year.

What can yo do to help prevent some of the allergy suffering? The CDC says to say indoors in the air conditioning during the peak of the season and try to get rid of animal dander and dust mites from your home as much as possible.

If you want more hints on how to get through spring allergy season with as little pain as possible, you can check out some tips from the Weather Channel.

We hope we feel better soon! and have a good day in the sneezing and coughing capital of the world.
