It sounds like a story we’ve heard many times before. A story that just won’t seem to go away this year. Grab the tissues and allergy meds. Here we go again this week.
Believe it or not, this is going to be another miserable week for allergy sufferers at the Jersey Shore. According to The Weather Channel’s Allergy Tracker, the ragweed pollen will once again be through the roof today, and there won’t be much relief over the next seven days.
The ragweed pollen level is solidly in the “high” (red) category today, and will be there for 5 of the next seven days. There is some relief and a bit of better news in the fact that tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday, the levels will drop down to moderate.
I guess the way this allergy season has been going, that’s a small victory, and when we’re used to getting beaten up this year, a small victory can be a big deal. So keep the allergy meds and tissues nearby. Here we go again.
