It's National Lighthouse Day (who knew?) and you can celebrate by checking out some of our coolest local treasures!

Head up to the northern end of Monmouth County to check out the Sandy Hook Lighthouse.

After you see Sandy Hook, turn around and look across the bay to Highlands, and check out the Navesink Twin Lightson top of the hill. (This is a fun place to check out with the kids before the summer ends, open everyday from 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.!)

Then make the trek down to Barnegat Light on LBI in southern Ocean County to see Old Barney -- the Barnegat Lighthouse.
