Look at those ribs! They are the creation of Dave Kaminski and the team at Smokies Craft BBQ. Dave has been cooking barbecue for years and "fell in love with bbq because it is so experimental and the end results are most satisfying." Early in 2021, Dave tells me that he spent some time in the hospital and used the time to fortify his plan to open a restaurant creating mouth-watering barbecue for the Jersey Shore.

Dave's the pitmaster of this new business and will be looking to create a full team, so if you can serve, bus, clean, or assist in any way there may be an opportunity for you.

When will Smokies Craft BBQ open?

Dave and his team are working hard to open near the end of the summer.  Their goal is August, but no later than September.

What types of food will Smokies Craft BBQ serve?

This is the really cool part.  There's a lot to be excited about.  Dave shares with pride, "all of my food will be homemade."

  • 15 different sandwich choices, including traditional favorites like pulled pork and Cubans along with special twists from the pitmaster.
  • Burgers with 3 different cuts of beef and hand ground.
  • 5 types of sauces, pickles, and vegetables, all made fresh.
  • Sides to include choices of fresh-cut french fries, beer-battered onion rings, mac and cheese, potato salad with a twist, and more.

Where will Smokies Craft BBQ be located?

333 Atlantic City Boulevard in Bayville, New Jersey.  It'll be near Retro Fitness in the same shopping center on Route 9 that includes Jersey Mike's Subs, and Bubbakoo's Burritos.
