Down on the Farm 5K and Family Fun Day in Wall

Walk or run with your kids this Sunday to help our community.

Allaire Community Farm of Wall and Visitatin Relief Center of Brick are hosting a 5K run/walk and Family Fun Day this Sunday, June 5th, 9 am - 4 pm, at Allaire Community Farm, 2840 Allaire Road, Wall.

The timed 5K run through the farm's beautiful nature trail side of the rescued animals in Wall kids off at 9 am. Prizes for the top finishers, as well as individual age groups. For pre-registration, CLICK HERE! Or you can walk for fun with your family and then spend the day on the farm!

You can also register the morning for the event if you don't pre-register. Registration for the 5K Run/Walk and Kid Trot begins at 7:30 am at Allaire Community Farm. Parking will be at the intermediate school across the street from the farm.

This is the first 5K for these two non-profit organizations with big hearts.. This fundraiser is dedicated to providing both organizations with additional funding so they can give back to the community. The Visitation Relief Center is dedicated to assisting and providing our community with food assistance, clothing, housing assistance, care counseling, volunteering and so much more.

Allaire Community Farm is dedicated to providing opportunities for special-needs children and at-risk teens to experience acceptance through helping with rescued farm animals and helping out on the farm. The farm also provides free organic produce to those battling cancer.

Immediately following the 5K, the organizations will open up the farm for a Family Fun Day. There will be carnival rides and games, face painting, pony rides, a petting zoo, food and entertainment, all for a small donation for these activities. The day will also include vendors, giveaways, activities, and a 50/50.
