Fans of THIS Character Swarm OB Diner

I just wanted to meet a friend for an early dinner in Point Pleasant Beach yesterday. So why couldn't I find a parking spot at 5:30 pm on a Tuesday at OB the diner???

I got to the OB Diner and there was literally a line out the door.

I couldn't think of what could possibly be going on, at what usually is a diner with a TON of space inside, that there could be a log jam at the front door with people trying to put their name on a wait list!

Then I noticed that most of those in line were moms...and they had little girls and THEIR friends..it was a sea of pink and and excitement and energy and anticipation  -- and I felt completely lost and out of place. After all...I am in the midst of raising two teenage boys, so I have no idea what little girls (and some little boys) love these days.

Turns out, it's dinner and pictures with Peppa Pig!

Boy, was this pig a rock star last evening. Were you there? If not, you were probably the only mom of a little girl that WASN'T! Lol.

P.S. My friend and I were able to get a small booth for two and had a great time watching the parents take photos of their kids with Peppa. I do love that diner and you can spot me there quite often...Peppa or not!
