Sea of Lights is happening at Jenkinson’s Aquarium in Point Pleasant.  The winter wonderland happens Friday and Saturday with treats, photos with Santa and friends, games, photo ops and more.  6 – 9 PM

The Nutcracker arrives at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank this weekend with showtimes Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday, The Winter Solstice Celebration takes place at Cattus Island County Park.  This annual free event features Games, Winter/Holiday Crafts, Live Animal Talks, Horse Carriage Rides, Campfire Stories, Food Truck, a Visit from Santa, Candy Cane Nature Walks and more.  11 AM to 3 PM.

Saturday Santa, Mrs. Claus and some of their friends are coming to Middletown Sport Complex. Skate with Santa, Mrs. Claus, The Grinch, Cindy Lou Who, Jack & Sally Skellington, Peppermint the Elf, and more. 12:30 to 2:30 PM

Saturday afternoon the Modelo Mariachi Band visits Anchor Tavern in Belmar.  Stop in for some festive fun.

Jolley Trolley Night 2 takes place on Saturday in Downtown Freehold with fun for the whole family.  This sells out fast, so get in on it while you can!

Get the lowdown on Ghosts of Christmas Past on Saturday in Red Bank. Take a stroll through historical Red Bank, hear stories about the ghosts that linger, and, in the spirit of the holidays, share Christmas traditions from around the world.
Tours meet in front of the Dublin House, starting at 6. The tour will leave at 6:30. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Drive Thru Nativity happens on Saturday and Sunday at Saint Barbara Greek Orthodox Church in Toms River starting at 5 PM.

West Side Winter Fest happens at Triumph Brewery in Red Bank on Saturday with live music, beer tasting and crafts for the kids.  3 to 6 PM.

Allaire Christmas Lantern Tours happen on Saturday.  Spend an evening strolling through the Historic Village at Allaire by candlelit lantern and enjoy the rich history of Christmas in the 1800s. This tour sells out fast. So if you want to get in on it, get in on it.

The Ferone Family Christmas Lights Spectacular on Yellowbank Road in Toms River is in full swing this weekend.  The light show starts at 5 PM.

The Annual Holiday Rooftop Winter Market at the Asbury Festhalle and Biergarten in Asbury Park is open weekends through December 22nd with shopping, food, various hot toddies and other adult beverages, live entertainment, and even a visit from Santa and his elves.

Let it Snow light show features a variety of holiday classics at the Robert J. Novins Planetarium on Ocean County College Campus with shows this Saturday and Sunday.

Red Bank Horse and Carriage Rides take place Saturdays now through December 21st from 1 to 5 PM.  Departing and returning to Robinson’s Ale House as well as Danny’s Steak House.

Magic of Lights Spectacular 2019 magical drive-through light experience at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel is open.
