It was a busy Black Friday and a super Cyber Monday, but despite all that, most Jersey Shore residents say they are behind schedule for Christmas shopping.

An informal survey of Jersey Shore shoppers say that, while their shopping is moving along (the average progress is about 75% done), they are less done than they were at this time last year.

Most people say that they just have a handful of gifts still to get, but nearly 80% surveyed said they are usually done by the two week mark (which, by the way is today), so any shopping they do now would be considered 'last minute' by them

I have two gifts still left to buy. but for me, that is way ahead of the game. I spent many years doing last minute shopping and kind of enjoyed it, but it does make make the season fly by too fast.

So, this year I feel ahead of the game, but apparently, my ahead of the game is someone else's (and most people's) behind schedule. Either way, good luck with the rest of your shopping.

And just for the record, 26% of Jersey Shore residents are completely done. Lucky them.
