If you are looking to spend some time in New Jersey's most festive Christmas town, you should get ready for a 90 minute car ride.

The determination of which Garden State town is most festive was made by Espresso, which chose a town for each state.and your opinion may vary. With great towns like Asbury Park and Red Bank and Spring Lake and Point Pleasant and Freehold, we all know we have our share of festive towns.

But when it comes to Christmas, it really is hard to beat the decorations, the shopping and the Victorian backdrop that Cape May provides. It is really like it's a scene right out of a Hallmark movie.

That's not to say there aren't a million things going on right here at the Jersey Shore. Check out the Red Bank, Freehold, Asbury Park and Spring Lake schedules for some very festive events.

And if you've never experienced the Victorian Christmas of Cape May, you should make the road trip. You'll never forget it.
