Fastest Growing Mediterranean Chain Coming To Long Branch In Oct.

If you have not tried Mediterranean food, I don't know what you are doing with your life.

But the good news is that I do have the perfect place for you to give it a try.

There is a west coast eatery called Hummus Republic that is coming to Pier Village in Long Branch this October. It will take the place of Smiley's Cocktails and Eats at 84 Ocean Ave.

We are definitely in for a treat because this chain is being described as, "a 'fast growing' Mediterranean-style restaurant chain."

This upcoming Jersey Shore restaurant will specialize in custom bowls, baguettes and pitas.

I am just drooling thinking about the lamb gyros, chicken kebabs and fresh hummus platters.

And according to Kushner Cos., they will be working to bring other West Coast establishments to Pier Village. BUT....they wouldn't reveal which businesses they have their eyes on.

Once we know a more specific opening date as well as other restaurant details such as hours of operation and safety precautions put into place due to COVID-19, we will let you know!
