Some of the biggest names in music, TV and Hollywood came together for a benefit telethon for Hurricane Sandy relief, and the results were amazing. "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together" which benefitted The American Red Cross, raised over $23 million, according to yahoo.com.

The show, which featured Christina Aguilera, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, could not be viewed by most people affected by the devastation of Hurricane Sandy due to the massive power outage, but it is now available On Demand.

The American Red Cross Chief Marketing officer Peggy Dyer said the money will go directly to those in need and she urged people to continue to give. On behalf of the Jersey Shore, thanks to everyone who generously made donations!
