Jersey Shore Holiday Events To Keep You Busy This Weekend
Thursday Spring Lake’s 4th Annual Sip and Shop Holiday Soiree in Downtown Spring Lake kicks off at 5 PM with in-store specials, refreshments, hors d’oeuvers, music, and door prizes.
Thursday, starting at 4 PM, it’s Hanukah on Ice at Pier Village in Long Branch. Jelly donuts and Latkes will be served before the giant Menorah Lighting.
Friday, downtown Toms River holds their Annual Christmas Tree Lighting in the courtyard of Town Hall in downtown Toms River at 5 PM with magic, singing, Mrs. Claus will read “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” and of course Santa will be there.
Free Holiday Movie Night this Friday at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park, the feature film, Polar Express. Doors open at 7 PM.
The Jolley Trolley is back this Friday and Saturday. Take a trolley tour of downtown Freehold. Skits will be performed at various stops bringing the history of freehold alive. Plus pictures with Santa.
Belmar Christmas Tree Lighting happens Friday 6 – 8 PM at Pyanoe Plaza with Santa, fire truck rides, and more.
Wall Township hosts their Christmas Tree Lighting from 6 to 8 on Friday night at Town Hall.
Victorian Holiday Festival, House & Inn Tour happens Saturday and Sunday in Ocean Grove. Inns, homes, and tents will be open for self-guided tours. Jitney services will be available to shuttle patrons.
Live Nativity happens at the Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove on Saturday at 5 PM, followed by the Annual Tree Lighting at Auditorium Park at 6:30 PM.
Asbury Park Santa Run, a 5k course in support of Lunch Break happens Saturday morning with an after-party featuring live music from Brian Kirk and the Jirks.
Saturday the Asbury Park SantaCon Pub Crawl kicks off at 1 PM
Saturday and Sunday see The Nutcracker at the Count Basie Center for the Arts.
Weekends, NOW through December 16th, the Spring Lake Theatre Company presents their 36th production of Scrooge.
Free Photos with Santa at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk Saturday from 2 to 4:30 PM.
Sunday enjoy a ranger-guided Christmas Holly Walk around Sandy Hook’s 64 acre maritime Holly Forest. 2 – 3:30 PM
Saturday evenings now through December 22nd at Pier Village in Long Branch get your holiday shopping in with the sound of a Strolling Holiday Quartet.
Sunday it is Winter on Broad Street in Downtown Red Bank featuring a holiday bazaar, ice skating on Broad Street, a life-size snow globe, live music, a scavenger hunt and more. 11 AM to 7 PM.
Sunday it’s Christmas at The Historical Village at Allaire from 11 AM to 4 PM.
Weekends, Asbury Festhalle and Biergarten open up the annual Holiday Weihnachtsmarkt, translation = Rooftop Winter Market, with tasty hot toddies, handcrafts, live entertainment, weekends now through December 23rd
Magic Lights of New Jersey, a holiday light drive-through experience at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel open now through December 30th.
