There has been talk of a chance for snow in parts of the Jersey Shore today. Let's get your morning update.

Here's all you need to know about today's Jersey Shore forecast. It looks like although we may see some minor snow mixed with the rain today and tonight, there really isn't much concern for significant accumulating snow in our area.

There is the possibility of a coating to an inch for this evening into tonight in inland southern New Jersey, but more than that is unlikely. There are no advisories for our area, except for a Gale Warning for tomorrow. Here's the timeline...

Today...rain in the afternoon with highs in the mid 40's

Tonight...some snow this evening, with a chance of an inch in inland southern NJ.

Expect a sunny but very windy day tomorrow with highs around 40, so as the first week of January is in the books, we stay a little warmer than normal, and that's a relief for those of us who are not looking forward to shoveling any snow.
