Pizza lovers rejoice!!!

The COVID-19 may have delayed Joe Brignoni's restaurant opening, but it didn't stop it.

Joe's Rotisseria located at 504 Main Street in Asbury Park has finally opened their doors mid-pandemic and all!

Originally, Joe wanted to serve pizza and rotisserie dishes downstairs and seafood and steak dishes upstairs.

But then the pandemic happened and halted his plan. But not to worry, Joe is a professional who is adapting with the times and does plan on implementing an outdoor dining once the city approves his permit.

"We've been real busy, getting a lot of local love from people who have been waiting for us to open up," said Brignoni. "I can have six tables outside, and then try to do as much as we can until we're able to open up."

He will also have pizza slices on display in the window for customers to choose from....kind of like window shopping. You can also get rotisserie chickens, mash potatoes, macaroni and cheese and cornbread.

I have never tried pizza window shopping but that is definitely something that is now on my bucket list.

Just be aware that Main Street is not one of the streets that will be closed for pedestrian-only outdoor dining but that does not mean your experience at Joe's Rotisseria!

Congrats Joe. Looks like all of you and your staff's hard work paid off.

Now let's go get some pizza!!
